Frequently asked questions
You sign up with providers (Google, OpenAI, fal, etc.), add a small balance, and paste your API keys into Orbit's settings. You pay providers their actual price. We take no cut.
No. The only thing that leaves is the API calls you make. Every generated file is stored locally.
Node.js 18.18 or newer, on macOS, Windows, or Linux. ffmpeg is bundled, no extra installs.
No. Claude Code just makes setup faster if you already have it, since you can hand it the folder and it does the install for you. Without it, npm install and npm run dev get you there just as easily.
